BM Royal Daycare – Toddler Program (19 Months to 3 Years)

At BM Royal Daycare, our Toddler Program provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our experienced Early Childhood Educators understand that toddlers learn best through play, exploration, and caring relationships.

Our curriculum is inspired by Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework – Flight, while incorporating the best practices of Montessori education, hands-on learning, and child-led discovery. Each day is thoughtfully planned to encourage children to explore, ask questions, solve problems, and build meaningful relationships.

What Your Child Will Learn

Our Toddler Program focuses on the development of the whole child through a variety of engaging experiences, including:

Language & Communication – Building vocabulary, listening skills, storytelling, songs, and early conversations.
Social & Emotional Development – Learning kindness, sharing, cooperation, empathy, confidence, and self-regulation.
Early Literacy & Numeracy – Introducing letters, numbers, shapes, colours, patterns, and counting through fun, play-based activities.
Practical Life Skills – Encouraging independence through hand washing, dressing, tidying up, self-feeding, and classroom responsibilities.
Fine & Gross Motor Development – Developing coordination through art, sensory play, puzzles, building blocks, climbing, dancing, and outdoor activities.
Creative Arts & Music – Inspiring imagination through painting, crafts, music, movement, dramatic play, and cultural celebrations.
STEM Exploration – Encouraging curiosity with simple science experiments, nature exploration, construction activities, and problem-solving games.
Health & Wellness – Promoting healthy habits, nutritious meals, physical activity, and daily outdoor play.
